Delete your account in the app
The fastest way: sign in to GrowSmart, open More, then Settings, and tap Delete account at the bottom. Your account and the data listed below are deleted straight away. This works the same on the web, iPhone, Android and Windows.

Send an email to amanda@getgrowsmart.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Please include the email address associated with your account so we can locate your data. We delete the same data within 30 days, and can also remove you from the newsletter.
What Gets Deleted
- Your email address and sign-in
- Garden data synced to your account (plant selections, care logs, garden plans)
- Subscription records held by GrowSmart
- Your Sage history, Sage usage, and any reports you sent about Sage answers
- Analytics events linked to your account, and the events and survey answers recorded on the devices you used it on
- Your answer to "How did you hear about GrowSmart?"
- Waitlist and app tester sign-ups made with your email address
- Push notification subscriptions
What Is Kept, and Why
- Payment records are kept by Lemon Squeezy (web), Apple (iPhone) and Google Play (Android) as tax law requires. Deleting your GrowSmart account does not cancel a subscription with Apple or Google Play; cancel it in your Apple account settings or in Google Play, under Payments and subscriptions.
- The newsletter is a separate sign-up. Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or ask us by email.
- Records we cannot tie to you: analytics events from a device that another GrowSmart account also used, and Sage reports sent while signed out on a device you never signed in on. These carry a device identifier but no name, email or account.
- Error reports and session recordings held by Sentry and Microsoft Clarity are kept for those services' own retention periods. They are not linked to your account.
Local Data
GrowSmart also stores your garden on your device. You can delete it yourself at any time with Reset this device in Settings, or by clearing your browser's site data for getgrowsmart.com. We do not have access to data that stays on your device.
